Entornos Virtuales en Educación Superior. Perspectivas desde actores educativos de carreras en línea

El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar las perspectivas de los actores educativos de carreras en línea, de la Universidad Católica de Cuenca; sobre sus entornos virtuales de aprendizaje. Se trabajó desde lo cuantitativo, como técnica se usó una encuesta a docentes y otra a estudiantes, el análisis estadístico descriptivo. Se estableció la perspectiva estudiantil y docente en las tres categorías investigadas. Para el acompañamiento al estudio, se prefiere el uso de redes sociales como WhatsApp y los vídeos creados por los docentes. Como actividades, las clases y tutorías sincrónicas, los foros, y las tareas; en lo que se refiere a recursos, la guía y material de estudio y los archivos pdf. En la estructura del aula virtual, la perspectiva de utilidad de las diferentes secciones difiere entre estudiantes y docentes. Se cierra el análisis incluyendo una propuesta de estructura de aula virtual y sus elementos.
The objective of the research was to analyze the perspectives of the educational actors of online careers at the Catholic University of Cuenca on their virtual learning environments. We worked from a quantitative point of view, using a survey to teachers and another one to students, and descriptive statistical analysis. The student and teacher perspective was established in the three categories investigated. For the accompaniment of the study, the use of social networks such as WhatsApp and videos created by teachers were preferred. As activities, synchronous classes and tutorials, forums, and homework; in terms of resources, the study guide and material and pdf files. In the structure of the virtual classroom, the students' and teachers' perspectives on the usefulness of the different sections differ. The analysis closes by including a proposal for a virtual classroom structure and its elements.
