Abstract

Sergio Dangelo has been an all-life adept to Surrealism, starting from his discover of the poetics of the movement in the Forties. His adherence to the ideas of Breton has been testify by his works, that distinguished in the panorama of post-War-II art for its original way of inventing new worlds. Dangelo's position, like founder of Movimento Nucleare with Enrico Baj and through his relationships with Arturo Schwarz, editor of important contribution for Surrealism in Italy and all over the world, is considered in the perspective of the situation of art in Milan during the Fifties-Sixties and on again, in the specific contest of the revue dedicated to the fortune of Surrealism in Italy.
