Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in the subject matter of growth and development through the application of the CLIS learning model in class XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Lhoksukon in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research was conducted in an odd semester, which was carried out for approximately 3 months, starting from July to September in 2022. This research was conducted on students in class XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Lhoksukon in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. 32 students. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of action planning, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained from observing teacher activities and student activities as well as student learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques in this study were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that in cycle I the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 68.75% with a class average of 79.78 and in cycle II it increased to 87.5% with an average of 87.16 and experienced an increase in student mastery. by 18.75%. The activity of the researcher (teacher) in cycle I had an overall average of 2.93, which was in the sufficient criteria and in cycle II it increased by 4.11 which was in the good criteria with an increase of 1.18. The overall percentage of student activity in cycle I was 60.36% with sufficient criteria and in cycle II it became 84.66%, was in good criteria, and experienced an increase of 23.3%. So it can be concluded that the application of the CLIS learning model can improve student learning outcomes on growth and development material in class XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Lhoksukon in the 2022/2023 academic year.
