Abstract
Izvedeni zaključci ukazuju na koji način se dobijeni rezultati merenja mogu iskoristiti za projektovanje uređaja za grejanje u domaćinstvima.<br />Due to the high cost of fossil fuels, primarily oil and natural gas, even in the developed countries of Western Europe and the United States, a growing trend in the utilization of solid fuels for residential heating and other purposes is present. One of the most cost-effective solid fuel is certainly biomass. The number of these appliances has increased so much that they are a significant source of pollutants into the air. In addition to the requirements in terms of energy efficiency of small combustion installations burning solid fuel there are regulations and standards that limit emissions of pollutants into the air. This paper presents the results of measurements of emissions from roomheaters fired by biomass (wood logs). The aim of this paper is to point out the pollutants from these plants. Also, analysis of the results of measurements on a sample unit of domestic producer of household roomheaters and boilers, showed how the emission parameters change through combustion cycles, i.e. from the moment of loading wood logs into the appliance to the point where the fuel burns completely, or when the new loading of fuel begins the next combustion cycle. Conclusions indicate the way in which the results of measurements can be used to design roomheaters.
