Abstract

2 x 2 in. Kodachrome color slides<br />Same as slide number 16.01. [This photo illustrates some of the damage to buildings at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii from the typhoon force winds which hit the state on 13-14 January 1970. Total damage to Schofield was estimated at 4.5 million dollars. The Army lost seven warehouses and shops at Schofield where building and structural damage amounted to approximately 3 million dollars. Insurance Underwriters said the storm was the worst since Hawaii became a state 11 years ago.]
