Total damage to Schofield was estimated at 4.5 million dollars. The Army lost seven warehouses and shops at Schofield where building and structural damage amounted to approximately 3 million dollars. Insurance Underwriters said the storm was the worst since Hawaii became a state 11 years ago.]
