"To the honorable Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County - The undersigned petitioners of Salem Township of said County humbly show to your honours that your petitioners' labour under great inconveniences for want of a public road or highway to run as follows: Beginning in the center of Section Seventeen, in the road running east and west through said Section Seventeen, Township No. 19, north of Range No. 9 east, thence running due north one mile to the center of Section Eight, thence due west one half mile to the half-mile stake between Sections of Seven and Eight, intersecting the Middletown & Daleville Pike, dividing the lands of ...
