Cui Bono, Cui Malo: turismo y desarrollo en las Rivieras De Jalisco Y Nayarit, México

The practice of the tourism in the different coast spaces in the mexican territory is, and it has been, a consequence of how the government has been looking for new strategies for the local and regional development of the host communities. However, the planning models used nowdays in such tourism entrepreneurships are responding to a very huge interests of public and private initiatives. So the expectatives, of this wished development from the local communities, without a dubt, it gerates big break downs in the social tissue when these are not satisfied; the tourism as main axis which structures sach perspectives when it is implemented under any slogan as tourist Riviera or corridor generates itself a different face to which it has shown to the local community before and, this tourism is getting along with the appropiation as the resources as the touristic attractives located in the territorial space. So the present research shows results of investigation both teorethical and empirical ones, about the impacts that the tourism development of La Riviera Nayarit has generated, and the expectatives that the people have of the New Riviera in the state of Jalisco (´New Cancún´), sach results are based in a survey which was applied in the community of Punta de Mita, in the municipality of Bay of Flags in the state of Nayarit, and some local communities in the municpality of Tomatlan in the state of Jalisco.
La práctica del turismo en los diferentes espacios litorales del territorio mexicano es y, ha sido una consecuencia de la búsqueda de nuevas estrategias para el desarrollo local y regional de las comunidades anfitrionas por parte del gobierno. Sin embargo, los modelos de planeación utilizados hasta la fecha en dichos emprendimientos turísticos responden por mucho a fuertes intereses de iniciativas tanto del sector público como el privado. Las expectativas, de este anhelado desarrollo por parte de las comunidades locales, sin lugar a dudas, genera grandes rupturas en el tejido social cuando estas no se satisfacen; el turismo como eje vertebrador de tales perspectivas una vez implementado bajo la modalidad de rivera o corredor turístico engendra en sí mismo un rostro diferente al expuesto ante la escala local y, se apropia tanto de los recursos como de los atractivos turísticos localizados en el espacio territorial. La presente investigación muestra resultados de indagación tanto teórica como empírica, de los impactos que ha generado el desarrollo turístico en la Riviera Nayarit y, las expectativas que la personas tienen del desarrollo turístico de la Nueva Riviera en Jalisco (“Nuevo Cancún”), dichos resultados se basan en una encuesta aplicada a las poblaciones de Punta de Mita, en el municipio de Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit y las poblaciones locales del municipio de Tomatlán, Jalisco.
