Los prefectos de Egipto durante el gobierno de Septimio Severo (192-211 d.C.)

In this essay I try to take a tour of the administrative situation of the roman empire during the severian period (192-211) in the Egyptian province. Focussing my attention in the figure of the prefect, like an organizer of the fiscal, military, and, also, religious life of the state. Developying, in the way that sources allow me, from a hypothetical-deductive methodology, a chronological biography of the prefecture´s members, until the death of Septimius Severus. This research will help us to know better the facultative body, that had an important position along the Severian dinasty.
En este ensayo pretendo realizar un recorrido por la situación administrativa del imperio romano durante el periodo severiano (192-211) en la provincia egipcia. Centrando mi punto de interés en la figura del prefecto, como organizador de la vida fiscal, militar, e, incluso, religiosa del Estado. Desarrollando, en la manera en la que me lo permitan las fuentes, desde una metodología hipotético-deductiva, una biografía cronológica de los integrantes de la prefectura, hasta la muerte de Septimio Severo, que nos ayudará a conocer mejor el cuerpo facultativo, que ejerció cargos relevantes a lo largo de la dinastía severiana.
