Herodotus narrated in the V century BC the tale of King Rampsinito’s stolen treasure. Since then the fundamental details of this story have remained mostly unchanged to this day both in literature and in the oral tradition. Several stories about disastrous treasures can be considered related to this ancient Egyptian history, and are also still alive in the collective memory of different cultures.
Heródoto narró en el siglo V antes d. C. el cuento del robo del tesoro del rey Rampsinito. Desde entonces los detalles fundamentales del cuento se han mantenido constantes en la literatura y la tradición oral hasta nuestros días. Otros relatos sobre tesoros funestos se relacionan con esta antiquísima historia egipcia, e igualmente continúan vivos en la memoria colectiva de los pueblos.
