Interkulturní utváření antropologických filmů o indiánech ve středoevropském prostoru: Reflexe a prolínání reprezentací

Článek se zabývá filmovou reprezentací a interkulturním natáčením etnografických či antropologických filmů. Text poukazuje na to, že filmová reprezentace není jen výsledkem dichotomicky pojaté mocenské nerovnováhy mezi mocným výzkumníkem a slabším objektem či subjektem natáčení, ale mnohem širší kombinací pozic, vztahů a kontextů týkajících se všech aktérů. Nabízí perspektivu z postsocialistického světa a poukazuje na to, že exotizace, marginalizace a stereotypizace odrážejí různé diskurzy a historické zkušenosti s kolonizací. Právě různé zkušenosti s koloniálními praktikami mezi Západem a Východem sehrávají roli i v tom, že pozice exotizovaných se v těchto prostorech může proměňovat. The article deals with the topic of film representation and intercultural encounters, on the example of contact between Native Americans, Czech athletes and anthropologists-filmmakers. The text points out that (film) representation is not just a matter of a dichotomously conceptualized power balance between a “powerful” researcher and a “weaker” object / subject, but a much more varied interconnection of contexts and positions of all actors. It offers a perspective from the post-socialist world and points out that exoticization, marginalization and stereotyping are a reflection of various discourses and historical experiences of colonization. These differences between the West and Central Europe are the reasons why the positions of the exoticized can change and turn in them.
