Análisis de opinión pública sobre los medios de comunicación durante el paro de octubre del 2019 en la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador

In the year two thousand nineteen, specifically in the month of October, Ecuador starred ten days of national protests against the policies imposed by the government of the then president Lenin Moreno; the elimination of the subsidy of hydrocarbons was established because of an agreement with the IMF (International Monetary Fund), this meant the inflation of almost all products due to the issue of transportation. This research focuses on how the media were perceived by a percentage of people in the city of Cuenca (Ecuador), in the midst of the conflict and violence scenarios that occurred during the protests. It seeks to analyze the opinions that are rescued about this period, information flows and find a reason why this type of action occurs during such scenarios, besides establishing whether there was a tendency to government in the media
