Activities and Comments of the Dutch WHO Collaborating Centre for the ICIDH, Interim Report

Het Nederlandse Centrum is in 1989 opgericht. Het heeft een tussentijds verslag opgesteld over het voorstel voor een nieuwe ICIDH dat in juli 1997 is uitgegeven om te worden beproefd. Het opnieuw structureren van de classificatie en het opnieuw bewoorden van haar klassen wordt in een nieuwe titel weergegeven: Internationale classificatie van stoornissen, activiteiten en participatie. Het voorstel en het tussentijds verslag zullen in Nederland in twee vergaderingen worden besproken. Een definitief verslag zal begin 1999 verschijnen.
The International Classification of Impairments, Disabilities and Handicaps (ICIDH, Geneva 1980, 19932) wil be revised by WHO and its Collaborating Centres for the ICIDH. The Dutch Centre was instituted in 1989. It has drawn up an interim report on the proposal for a new ICIDH that was issued in July 1997 for field trials. The restructuring of the classification and the rewording of its classes is reflected in a new title: International Classification of Impairments, Activities and Participation. The proposal and the interim report will be discussed in two meetings in the Netherlands. An updated version of this report will appear early 1999.
