Abstract
- Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) are a particular group of thermoplastic elastomers produced by dynamic vulcanization, which consists of the selective crosslinking of the elastomer and its fine dispersion throughout the thermoplastic phase under intensive mixing. TPV combines the excellent resilience of ordinary vulcanized rubbers and the high processability of thermoplastics, and the morphology of TPV has a significant influence on its mechanical properties and processability.[<br />Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) are a particular group of thermoplastic elastomers produced by dynamic vulcanization, which consists of the selective crosslinking of the elastomer and its fine dispersion throughout the thermoplastic phase under intensive mixing.
