Abstract
- This paper describes the leaching of three common copper sulphide minerals in acidic media using Fe(SO4), FeCl3 or O2 as oxidising agents. The dissolution kinetics at different temperatures of tennantite from McIntyre, Timmins, Ontario, synthetic and Ag-bearing tetrahedrite from Tintic Standard, Utah, and enargite from West Colusa, Butte, Montana were investigated.<br />This paper describes the leaching of three common copper sulphide minerals in acidic media using Fe(SO4), FeCl3 or O2 as oxidising agents.
