Abstract
- The types of vibrating screen are described, including inclined screens with direct agitation of the mesh and flat screens, and the evaluation of screen efficiency is discussed based on the purity of the product or the yield obtained from the feed material. Investment and maintenance costs are considered. Modern screens are often linearly dimensioned so that an increase in production leads to a linear increase in the screening area or the number of screens. Using the example of the processing of a fertiliser, it is shown that a combination of inclined screens with a high specific load and flat screens can be used to achieve a high degree of purity with reduced capacities, high product qualities with low investment and lower operating costs.<br />The types of vibrating screen are described, including inclined screens with direct agitation of the mesh and flat screens, and the evaluation of screen efficiency is discussed based on the purity of the product or the yield obtained from the feed material.
