Abstract

A study on the recovery of molybdenum at three different concentrators treating low grade porphyry copper ores formed part of the AMIRA P260E project. The study revealed common issues relating to molybdenite recovery. As well as an overview of the major findings, there is a discussion of the mechanisms and factors affecting molybdenite flotation, and process improvements.<br />A study on the recovery of molybdenum at three different concentrators treating low grade porphyry copper ores formed part of the AMIRA P260E project.
