Nd isotopic composition of ores and sulphides from the Mouping gold deposit, eastern Jiaodong peninsula: constraints on the origin of mineralising materials and metallogenesis.
-
Abstract
- Sm-Nd isotope data indicate that mineralising materials for the large vein deposit, in Shandong, were derived from the host Mesozoic granitoids and from porphyry mafic dykes that intrude the granitoids. The gold mineralisation is more than 10 m.y. younger than the granitoids, suggesting that the mineralising fluids were meteoric rather than magmatic.<br />Sm-Nd isotope data indicate that mineralising materials for the large vein deposit, in Shandong, were derived from the host Mesozoic granitoids and from porphyry mafic dykes that intrude the granitoids.
