The influence of silicate cement on the flotability of nickel-pyrite and its mechanism.

Abstract

Cemented filling materials in ore greatly affect the flotation of nickel sulphate minerals and reduce the recovery. Hydrated silica cement, in an unlimited quantity of water, can reduce the flotability of pyrite. Ca(OH)2 is the main component responsible for depressing nickel pyrite.<br />Cemented filling materials in ore greatly affect the flotation of nickel sulphate minerals and reduce the recovery.
