Abstract

The development of the Santa Rosa and Alto de la Mina gold deposits by a joint venture between two Canadian companies, Boliden Canada and Greenstone Resources, is described. Proven and probable reserves stand at 11 300 000 tonnes grading 2.1 g/t Au with a cutoff grade of 0.857 g/t. The Santa Rosa deposit is the larger of the two, carrying 8 900 000 t at 2.06 g/t Au. The Alto de la Mina holds the balance of 2 600 000 t at 2.2 g/t Au. Only a quarter of a mile will separate the two pits.<br />The development of the Santa Rosa and Alto de la Mina gold deposits by a joint venture between two Canadian companies, Boliden Canada and Greenstone Resources, is described.
