Abstract
- A flowsheet for removing arsenic from waste water with calcium hydroxide was proposed. This was based on the experimental results: additions of excess calcium hydroxide to waste water reduced arsenic levels to less than 10 mg/l; calcium arsenate and arsenite formed very insoluble Ca3(AsO4)2 by calcining in air above 700 degrees C.<br />A flowsheet for removing arsenic from waste water with calcium hydroxide was proposed.
