Abstract

The separation method was tested on several simulated industrial sludges, composed of fine particles of alpha-Fe2O3, Cr(OH)3 and SiO2. Efficiencies of over 90% were obtained for the separation of alpha-Fe2O3 (haematite), and SiO2.<br />The separation method was tested on several simulated industrial sludges, composed of fine particles of alpha-Fe2O3, Cr(OH)3 and SiO2.
