Abstract
- Interpenetrated nanocomposites were formed by polymerization of acrylonitrile in a ultrahigh surface area (>5000 m2 g−1) porous framework. The resulting material realizes a hyperextended interface with uniform interdigitation of the two structures at the size limit of the individual molecular moieties. The confined poly(acrylonitrile) chains could be transformed into light-absorbing polyconjugated ladder polymers.
