Abstract

Since last spring, Ammerlaan Flowers in the Dutch town of Bleiswijk has been growing chrysanthemums using a ventilation/circulation system. Ron Ammerlaan: "There used to be a few degrees of difference between the temperature at the external walls and the central aisle. That has now virtually disappeared. I also get the feeling that there is less natural draught in the greenhouse. I reckon this should bring down our energy bills by at least 5-10% per year."
