Abstract

Commercial growers have the impression that the production of tomatoes decreases after the longest day. It's true, according to researchers at Wageningen. The decline can be even quantified. The light use efficiency in the autumn is 14% lower than in the spring. And there is a top-three list of factors that can explain this decline.
