Applying a Process Organization Perspective in the Context of Corporate Sustainability

This dissertation applies a process organization perspective to various phenomena which are of particular importance in the context of corporate sustainability. The first essay elaborates on the role of organizational products in the evolution of organizational identity. The second essay investigates how organizations can navigate the paradox of authenticity and market commercialization over time. The third essay critically discusses how organizations can translate the inherently processual character of sustainable development from the societal level to the organizational level in corporate sustainability accounting.
