[ES] El proyecto trata sobre la creación de un Centro de Innovación en Castellón de la Plana y la ordenación urbana alrededor del mismo. En el territorio actual se encuentran una conjunto de preexistencias como edificaciones aisladas que se van a sustituir por una serie de viviendas que generen una trama urbana reconocible y con una densidad adecuada. El viario previsto por el Plan Parcial se mantiene y se añaden otros generando una trama ortogonal que dividen las parcelas en unidades más pequeñas con bloques de viviendas. Dentro de la ordenación se proyecta una vía que conecta la estación con la parcela del Centro de Innovación con un trazado curvo. Este trayecto tiene gran importancia ya que dirige todo el tráfico peatonal que llega desde la estación de autobuses y de trenes hasta el final de la ordenación, donde se encuentra el Centro de Innovación. Este camino viene apoyado por unos edificios que en planta baja tienen unos locales comerciales que potenciar a este recorrido. En el momento del giro en el viario hay un edificio que actúa como hito. Las parcelas generadas con la trama urbana se completan con edificios de 3 y 5 alturas, zonas verdes y espacios de terciario dispuestos como una célula que se repite y modifica según el trazado y la dimensión del terreno. Para el desarrollo del edificio se parte de dos tramas, una hexagonal, que se vincula y extiende por el cauce del río, y una ortogonal que se relaciona con la parte más urbana del entorno, de forma que se mezclan, creando una complejidad espacial fuera de la regularidad estricta. Al tener unas fachadas tan distintas, como la oeste que da al rio y la zona verde o la este que tiene un carácter más urbano, se ha propuesto que el edificio responda de la misma manera, de forma que se han agrupado las funciones públicas y se han vinculado al río, mientras que las privadas y de trabajo se han orientado a la trama urbana. [EN] The project is about the creation of an Innovation Center in Castellón de la Plana and the urban planning around it. Up to date there is a set of pre-existing buildings, such as isolated buildings, in the territory which will be replaced by a series of houses, generating a recognizable urban plot with an appropriate density. The road planned by the Partial Plan is maintained and other roads are added producing an orthogonal plot, which divides the smallholdings into minor units with blocks of houses. A curved road connecting the station to the Innovation Center plot is projected within the ordination. This route is very important because it directs all the pedestrian traffic arriving from the bus and train station to the end of the ordination, right where the Innovation Center is located. This road is supported by a series of buildings that have on the ground floor commercial premises that outlines this route. At the road turning point there is a building that acts as a milestone. The smallholdings generated with the urban plot are completed with three and five floors buildings, green areas and tertiary spaces arranged as a cell. It is repeated and modified according to the layout and size of the land. The progress of the building is developed by two frames: an hexagonal one, which is linked and extended by the river bed, and an orthogonal one that is related to the urban part of the environment. Both of them are mixed creating a spatial complexity outside of strict regularity. By having such different facades, being the west one facing the river and the green zone and having the east one that has am urban character, it has been proposed for the building to respond similarly. This way public functions have been grouped together and they have been linked to the river, while private and work functions have been oriented to the urban fabric.
