Att vara barn är ingen lek

Denna studie har genomförts i syfte att undersöka om orosanmälan görs i tillräckligt stor utsträckning samt vilka faktorer som kan påverka benägenheten att anmäla. Målgruppen för studien har varit yrkesverksamma inom förskola och förskoleklass. Vidare har studien även undersökt om det går att identifiera skillnader som kan påverka benägenheten att anmäla, inom olika kommuner. Studien har även undersökt om yrkesverksamma upplever några brister i samverkan med socialtjänsten som kan komma att påverka benägenheten att orosanmäla. Studien har genomförts med en kvalitativ metod baserad på̊ sex kvalitativa intervjuer med yrkesverksamma från tre storleksmässigt olika typer av kommuner, rangordnade från små̊, till medelstora, till stora. Resultatet har analyserats genom en kombination av två teoretiska ramverk vid namn: stigma och samverkan. Genom att använda oss av ovanstående nämnda metod har vi utifrån informanterna kunnat identifiera följande teman: ett svårdefinierat begrepp, rädsla för att anmäla, samverkan och skillnader mellan kommuner.
This study sought to investigate the reasons why referrals to social services from preschools appear to be lower than one would expect. The study has also attempted to gain an insight into the different processes practiced in the three municipalities examined in this study. More specifically this study has explored if the respondents experience difficulties with cooperation with local social services offices and if this contributes in some way to possible challenges regarding the making of referrals. With this in mind, the study carried out six interviews with pre-school teachers from three different municipalities. The results, examined via a combination of stigma and cooperation theories, highlight the following themes that reflect the experiences of the research participants: difficulty with definition, fear of making a referral, cooperation, and process within the municipalities. The results highlight the importance of cooperation between agencies and indicate the necessity for open communication between pre-schools and social services.
