Abstract

Complex formation between elongation factor Tu (EF-Tu), Phe-tRNA(Phe), and GTP was analyzed by small-angle neutron and X-ray scattering methods. Both techniques show that the ternary complex consists of one EF-Tu and one aminoacyl-tRNA.
