Abstract
- Untill 2001 Circaea x intermedia was merely known from a single locality in the Netherlands, viz. in a decidious forest along the brook of Ratum near Winterswijk (prov. of Gelderland). A close inspection learned, however, that it (now) occurs along the whole length of that brook. The authors warn that “winged petioles” arise only during drying material for the herbarium.
