Deshacer, rehacer y no hacer en el Delta del Llobregat

El modelo urbano basado en un sistema de desarrollo y acumulación, se pone en cuestión al hablar de los límites del crecimiento. La escasez de recursos naturales lleva a repensar las estrategias de intervención en la ciudad. Se buscan dichas herramientas que generen ciudad desde la reducción, la contención y la declinación razonada. Para ello, se analiza la obra de Jill Stoner, Toward a minor architecture. Tras los cuatro mitos que Stoner plantea como crítica al canon moderno –el interior, el objeto, el sujeto y la naturaleza- se trazan actuaciones arquitectónicas que tienen el deshacer como eje estructurante. El discurrir zigzagueante y difuso de la obra de Stoner lleva a constantes contradicciones que no socavan su valor. Las estrategias planteadas -huir al horizonte, no hacer como acción, multiplicar identidades, ocupar lo vacío- son solo algunas de las múltiples tácticas que las arquitecturas menores revelan.
The urban model based on a system of development and accumulation is questioned by the limits of growth. The shortage of natural resources leads to rethinking the strategies to take part in the city. It is a research that looks for the tools that generate city from reduction, containment and reasoned decline. In the way to achieve it, the book of Jill Stoner, Toward a minor architecture, is analysed. After the four myths that Stoner explains as criticism of the modern canon - the interior, the object, the subject and the nature - architectural strategies for the undoing process of the city emerge. The zigzagging and diffuse course of Stoner's book leads to constant contradictions that do not undermine its value. The strategies proposed - escape to the horizon, not doing as an action, multiplying identities, occupying the void - are just some of the many tactics that minor architectures reveal.
