KKF-Model platform coupling : inventory of available and accessible data and models and design and first setup for a pilot system

This research carried out an inventory of the currently available hydrological and hydrodynamic models for the Rhine/Meuse watershed including the delta of The Netherlands and the North Sea. These models are linked using existing technology (Delft-FEWS) into a data and model framework. This allows the quick and consistent determinations of climate scenarios based on the outcome of global or regional climate models. It is concluded that the existing models can be linked without having to adjust the models and initial trails show that run-times remain acceptable.
