Political culture and the nature of political participation in Egypt

This thesis analyzes Egyptian political culture and theimited to any deterioration in the government's identification with Islam, a reduction in the already marginal standard of living or any perceived threat to continued Egyptian independence from any foreign power including the United States or Israel.
