Uso de datos genómicos para la búsqueda de reguladores de importancia en cáncer

[EN] This TFG will compare a transcription facto database with gene expression data availables on different cancer types in order to find common regulation processes. To this aim, RNA-Seq files at the International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) will be used, and differentially expressed genes between different cancer types will be identified using statistics. After that, bioinformatics tools will be used to identify those transcription factors which regulate the identified genes, and cancer types with common regulator elements will be obtained.
[ES] Este Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) tiene como objetivo comprarar una base de datos de factores de transcripción con los datos de expresión genética diponibles de distintos tipos de cáncer para buscar procesos de regulación en común. Para ello, se utilizan los archivos de RNA-seq del Intenational Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) y mediante un estudio estadístico se determinan los genes diferencialmente expresados en los distintos cánceres. Posteriormente, utilizando herramientas bioinformáticas, se verá que factores de transcripción los regulan y se observará qué cánceres tienen elementos reguladores en común.
