Adoption of European standards in construction industry as our national standards

The background, aims and content and the actual state of development of Structural Eurocodes are presented in the paper. The review of what have been done in the implementation of European prestandards in our theory and practice has been presented. A short review of the first five parts of Eurocodes that has been translated to Serbian language within realization of Project "Adoption of European Standards in construction industry as national standards of Serbia and Montenegro". Next steps that should be done as continuation of that Project are pointed out, which represents the long-term and very important task for our construction industry in the coming years.
U radu su prikazani istorijat, ciljevi, sadržaj i sadašnje stanje izrade Evrokodova za konstrukcije. Izloženo je šta je do sada učinjeno na uvođenju Evrokodova u fazi predstandarda u našu teoriju i praksu. Dat je kratak prikaz prvih pet delova standarda Evrokodova koji su prevedeni na srpski jezik, u okviru realizacije Projekta "Usvajanje evropskih standarda u građevinarstvu kao nacionalnih standarda Srbije i Crne Gore". Istaknut je niz koraka koje treba preduzeti u cilju nastavka realizacije tog Projekta, što predstavlja dugoročan i veoma značajan zadatak pred našim građevinarstvom u sledećim godinama.
