Místo románu v moderní kultuře podle Milana Kundery

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na Milana Kunderu jakožto na romanopisce a na jeho vztah k románu a postmodernímu románu, dále pak na jeho názor na místo románu v dnešní kultuře. V první části práce rozebírá teorii románu, jeho vznik a historický vývoj. Dále se věnuje teorii postmoderny a postmoderního románu. Druhá část se zaměřuje na rozbor Kunderových esejí, prostřednictvím kterých ukazuje autorův vztah k románu a jeho názor na místo románu v dnešní kultuře a taktéž jeho názor na smysl románu a literatury. Dále jsou v práci rozebírány Kunderovy romány, které jsou porovnávány s teorií postmoderního románu za účelem nalezení postmoderních prvků v těchto rozebíraných románech. Práce byla vypracována na základě zpracování teorie románu a Kunderových esejí. Tyto poznatky pak byly aplikovány na romány Milana Kundery.
This bachelor thesis is oriented to Milan Kundera as the novel-writer and to his relation to a novel and postmodern novel, further than to his opinion to the place of a novel in contemporary culture. In the first part this thesis analyses the theory of a novel, its genesis and historical development. Further it deals with a theory of a postmodernism and postmodern novel. The second part is oriented to the analysis of the Kundera's essays, through which it shows author's relation to a novel and his opinion to the place of a novel in the contemporary culture and also his opinion to the sense of a novel and literature. Further Kundera's novels are analyzed in this thesis, which are compared with the theory of the postmodern novel with the purpose to find postmodern elements in these analyzed novels. The thesis was elaborated on the base of the theory of novel; and Kundera's essays processing. Then these findings were applied to the Milan Kundera's novels.
