Abstract
- Theater program of "The Mikado" by W.S. Gilbert, music by Arthur Sullivan. This performance opened on December 5, 1950. Performers: Charles King as The Mikado of Japan, William Banks as Nanki-Poo, Sherman Sneed as Ko-Ko, Joseph Roberson as Pooh-Ba, Henry Finney as Pish-Tush, Elizabeth Foster as Yum-Yum, Georgia Hill as Pitti-Sing, Corita Coleman as Peep-Bo, Shirley Abrams as Katisha. Ladies of the Ensemble: Annie Allen, Bertice Armour, Ruby Brown, Dolores Clark, Jamesina Clark, Emma Coleman, Dorothy Ellington, Elaine Gibbs, Hallie Jenkins, Allie King, Esther Overstreet, Joan Richards, Regina St. Paul, Juanita Swarms, Dorothy Wall, and Annie Wimes. Gentlemen of the Ensemble: Charles Brown, Charles Cooper, Allan Cowser, Paul Jackson, Herbert Kerr, Anthony Martin, Arnold McReynolds, Clarence Price, John Thomas, John Tisdale.
