Clark, Ellen, N.D.A.C., Fargo, N.D.

There are four people sitting on a couch in a living room with a decorated Christmas tree. There are two women both in lighter colored dresses and there are two men in dark pants and shirts. The man to left is also wearing a lighter colored tie. Below the Christmas tree there are many presents, to the side there is a suit case and an a small table with a lamp and small figurines on it.

Mrs. Clark was born in 1898 in Lake Mary, Minnesota to John and Kajsa (Olsdotter) Nyquist. She went to the University of Minnesota for her bachelor's degree, which she earned in 1920. She moved to Cleary, North Dakota in 1925. She married Andrew Clark September 15, 1932 in Bowbells, North Dakota. Her only daughter, Rose Marie Clark was born June 20, 1933. She began working at North Dakota Agricultural College from 1944 to 1947 as a special instructor of English. Her husband Andrew died in 1955. Mrs. Clark would die January 16, 1981 in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
