Abstract
- We examined the impact of ethnic group differences on the learning and socializing preferences of young Hong Kong Chinese children. Overall, children preferred to learn and socialize from ingroup members over outgroup members. Outgroup member ethnicity, kindergarten type, and individual participant characteristics impacted children’s learning and socializing preferences differently.
