Abstract
- Badge is made of white metal, and was worn by members of the Other Ranks on the feather bonnet or glengarry. The stag's head and rock ivy on this badge are both symbols of Clan Gordon and the Gordon Highlanders, the latter of which was a British Army regiment that fought in World War I. The regimental and clan motto "BYDAND" is Scots, and translates roughly to "steadfast" in English.
