Abstract
- Здійснено чисельне моделювання змішування в черв’ячному каналі екструдера та динамічного змішувача бар’єрного типу. Наведено результати моделювання, що дозволяють дослідити динаміку зміни температур під час течії полімерів у змішувальних елементах та вибирати оптимальні параметри змішувальних елементів та/чи технологічні режими змішування.<br />Mixing processes are important in the processing of polymeric materials, because the quality of mixing directly determines the quality of the product [1]. For science-based structural design of extrusion mixing equipment is important to know the basic patterns of mixing processes that occur in its various structural zones. In many cases, the quality of mixing is estimated by the following integral indicators, as the accumulated deformation, time, shear stress, etc. [1-4]. Usually these indicators do not always allow for a full understanding of the mixing process. Unresolved part of the scientific problem forecast performance polymer mixing equipment is investigating the complexity of quantifying [3]. For straight mixing quality criterion accept concentration dispersed material in the dispersion environment [4]. If input component compositions with different temperatures such criteria may be uniformity of temperature field. Research data are devoted to the numerical modeling of the mixing process by finite element method [5, 6], based on a mathematical model [4].The purpose of research is to study the dynamics of the mixing process of polymer composites in screw extruder with a dynamic mixer barrier type. The process of mixing considered in the zone and in the batching screw dynamic mixing barrier type for three dispersed variants introducing material into the dispersion environment. The criteria of efficiency of mixing polymers made the change the concentration of dispersed material in the dispersion medium and changes temperature uniformity of the mixture.The numerical study of mixing two polymers with different versions of the introduction dispersed material in the dispersion environment. Simulation results show that the introduction of dispersed material in the dispersion environment at the core of a rotating screw is almost twice as fast, than when it is introduction at fixed external cylinder.
