The commission is listed in the Lane Brothers' Assignment Book for 1951 (page 26): "Barrett & Hayes, by Barrett. 2 Photos of man and woman (heads) -- $28.00. 5 Photos wreck scene Center Hill Baptist Church [now called First Corinth Missionary Baptist Church], Bankhead Highway; [and] January 22, 2 Photos wrecked car Wagstaff -- $8.00." The Assignment book indicates that Charles D. Jackson was the photographer. This photograph is of the Bankhead Highway at Mildred Place, showing the concrete corner post with the names of the streets highlighted in black. The church is barely visible on the upper left.
