Uno de los objetivos de esta tesis, por ser uno de los primeros estudios sobre el albanés en español que describe de modo sumario los orígenes y el estado actual de esta lengua, es que los investigadores españoles puedan llegar a una más fácil comprensión de otros estudios más especializados de la lingüística albanesa. Otro objetivo es que, a partir de estos conocimientos, el lector pueda adentrarse en el estudio especializado del artículo pospuesto del albanés, comparándolo con el artículo del español, ya que éste es uno de los fenómenos más específicos y distintivos de la lengua albanesa. La tesis, desde un punto de vista estructural, está dividido en cinco capítulos. En el primer capítulo se presentan los aspectos histórico- lingüísticos sobre los ilirios. Se aborda el tema del origen de los ilirios, del tiempo y del lugar de su aparición, poniendo en evidencia las dos opiniones fundamentales de que los ilirios son desplazados a la Península Balcánica a finales del segundo milenio a.C. y de que los ilirios son una población indígena. En las secciones finales de este capítulo se da también información sobre la lengua de los ilirios, perteneciente a la familia de las lenguas indoeuropeas, que sirve de base a la comparación con el albanés, procedente del ilirio, según la opinión más difundida. El segundo capítulo está dedicado a la descripción del origen de la lengua albanesa. Se plantean las diferentes hipótesis tracia, daco-misias, iliria etc. poniendo énfasis en esta última, que defiende que el albanés es el descendiente directo del ilirio. Dicha tesis se fundamenta en argumentos de carácter lingüístico y de carácter histórico-geográfico. A continuación se presenta la formación y el desarrollo del albanés estándar, haciendo una breve descripción de los estudios de la lengua albanesa dentro y fuera del territorio de Albania. One of the objectives of this thesis, being one of the first studies on the Albanian in Spanish whom it describes of way it indict the origins and the present state of this language, is that the Spanish investigators can arrive more at a easier understanding of other specialized studies of the Albanian linguistic. Another objective is that, from this knowledge, the reader can enter itself in the specialized study of the after placed article of the Albanian, comparing it with the article of the Spanish, since this one is one of the most specific and distinguishing phenomena of the Albanian language. The thesis is divided in five chapters. In the first chapter the historical-linguistic aspects appear on the Illyrians. The subject of the origin of the Illyrians, the time and the place of their appearance, is approached, putting in evidence the two fundamental opinions that the Illyrians are displaced to the Balkan Peninsula at the end of the second millennium bC and of which the Illyrians are an indigenous population. In the final sections of this chapter, information is also given on the language of the Illyrians, which belongs to the family of the Indo-European languages. This serves as base for the comparison with the Albanian, originated from Illyrians, according to the most spread opinion. The second chapter is dedicated to the description of the origin of the Albanian language. The different Thracian hypotheses, daco-misias, Illyrians, etc. are considered, putting emphasis in the Illyrians one, that defends that the Albanian is the direct descendant of Illyrian. This thesis is based on arguments of linguistic and historical-geographic character. In the following part, the formation and the development of the standard Albanian, making a brief description of the studies of the Albanian language inside and outside the territory of Albania, is presented.
