Abstract

Photograph of two old date palm trees near an adobe building in Ventura, originally planted by Franciscan missionaries, ca.1903-1920. At center, two large palm trees can be seen with a small adobe structure between them. The two trees and the building are situated behind a low stone or adobe wall encircling them in a rectangle. The sidewalk, curb and street are adjacent to the front of the wall in the foreground. A few other buildings are visible in the background. Tall trees are visible in the distance.
