Abstract

The purpose of health education is to help people make appropriate decisions and to carry out behaviors that are necessary for optimum health. This study deals with the problem of designing a health education program for implementation. The author analyzes the current program in terms of the following: scope, specific goals, resources, expenditures, subjects addressed, target populations, and evaluative procedures presently employed.
