Abstract

This report provides a detailed description of the experimental methods used in a study to evaluate the effectiveness of three types of technical data for troubleshooting, fully proceduralized troubleshooting aids (FPTA), logic tree troubleshooting aids (LTTA), and technical orders (TO). The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of these technical data by determining which provided the best support for technicians troubleshooting two moderately complex electronic systems, the AN/APN-147 and AN/ASN-35.
