The Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General Ronald R. Fogleman, tasked the Air University to look 30 years into the future to identify the concepts, capabilities, and technologies the U.S. will require to remain the dominant air and space force in the 21st Century. The 2025 study is published on the CD-ROM as a collection of 'White papers' consisting of an executive summary, an alternative futures monograph, an operational analysis monograph, and 37 individual papers, totaling more than 3300 pages of text.
