Abstract

For the first time in the practice of cold rolling a substitute is developed for the palm oil on a base of domestic synthetic raw materials, which ensures high speeds of rolling. Further research regarding elimination from the lubricant of low-molecular compounds, which lead to higher, as regards the palm lubricant, formation of gaseous products of lubricant during high-speed rolling of thin sheet iron, should be directed toward selection of narrower fractional composition of the lubricant. This assumption is substantiated by data presented in the table. (Author)
