Abstract

One platoon at an officer candidate school was trained by use of interval running techniques, while a control platoon employed the continuous running method in use at the school. Both groups significantly improved their time in the three-mile run, but thee was no significant difference in the improvement of the two groups. The physical activity required in the overall program may have affected this portion of it. (Author)
