Abstract

A methodology through which an at-sea test for the comparative evaluation of the acoustic tracking systems available through the use of the AN/BQS-13 (DNA) sonar system and the Post-launch Interference Cancellation (PIC) Tracking System may be undertaken is presented in this report. Examined in detail are all the major factors concerned with a special at-sea evaluation of these tracking systems including the best design procedures, the comparative analysis techniques, and the parametric variations (including operational conditions).
