Abstract
- An album of photographs pertaining to Pickering's experiences at a flight school in Independence, California, July 1943; WASP training at Sweetwater, Texas (Feb.-Sept. 1944); and her flying assignment as an engineering test pilot at Marana Army Air Base at Tucson, Arizona, until the WASP were deactivated December 20, 1944. Also includes photographs of her family living in North Hollywood, California. Also includes 2 kneeboards, maps, pilot's log book, news clippings and correspondence.
